HSE Brume Dorée American Oak (October 2014 - October 2025) 49.6° Bottle opened for a few weeks. Nose: true to an old Martiniquais! Sweet spices, vanilla, the pepper has been well tamed by the years, cinnamon, light butter caramel, praline, slight oak barrel, rather expressive and teasing 😉 Palate: oak barrel, peppery, vanilla, butter caramel, clove, dried apricot, raisins, citrus zest. Finish: rather long, the palate is marked for a good while on cocoa, oak barrel, cooked caramel, mocha coffee, some candied fruits reappear, slight freshness. Excellent value for money: a 10-year-old AOC Martinique cask strength for 80€.
