Tasting date 26.08.2026 RX0000 not registered. Caroni 1999 Libations. Nose: Petroleum, dirty oily workshop. Balanced wood / cask and a fine sweetness, burnt sugar. Tar, smoked and toasted wood. Mouth: Pleasant sweetness quickly turns into dry and dirty complexity, tar and roasted wood. Dried fruits like raisins and prunes, dry but refreshingly dirty. Residual taste: Dried raisins and prunes, tar and diesel notes. Spices and fine tar notes stay present for a long time, and ends up with a fine balanced sweetness. Roasted and smoked notes. The glass: Bitter sour pipe tobacco. Tasting “In the cave”

#1812 23-07-2026 - Rate 8.9 A very limited Caroni. Only 48 bottles. Very nice nose, classic Caroni notes of rubber and leather. The taste is good at first but after 5 seconds a wet wooden note comes in the back of the mouth. Not so found of that.
