Poured from a newly opened bottle. One of Privateer's oldest bottlings and what a disappointment. Very ethanol forward, simple and boring palate, and the shortest finish that I have ever gotten from one of their bottlings. I hope this is not indicative of Privateer's older stuff going forward, as I would have to write off the distillery off completely.
