A Savanna with 23 years in the cask, tropical aging. The color therefore an appealing dark amber. On the nose beautiful delicious spicy wood. Along with dried fruits and bourbon vanilla. Seems noble and round with nicely underlying sweetness of burnt sugar. On the palate deep cask aromas from the long aging. Well balanced and harmonious with the sweetness already noticeable on the nose. Along with light fruit notes of dried tropical fruits and a delicious spiciness. The finish medium-long on the palate aromas. The initially more noticeable ABV disappears after a few minutes in the glass. Great.
