Trade fair review. Really awesome TDL. So far, I haven't had a 2016 with this quality. The supposed whisky cask finish is practically undetectable. Instead, you get the full TDL punch with the familiar markers. Absolute great value recommendation.

Solid "young" TDL with whisky finish at surprisingly good drinking strength. Luckily, you hardly notice the whisky finish—at most a slight grain and malt note if you really focus on it. It doesn’t feel thin at all but surprisingly intense and spicy. Blind, I would have guessed something more like 44.3% ABV. Aromatically typical TDL yellow stone fruit (dried apricot and peach) as well as young oak wood, vanilla, and of course mint and menthol. Very dry overall. Solid bottling at a fair price but nothing outstanding.
