👃 = Sweet fresh vegetal notes of sugarcane fully express themselves with lemon, grapefruit, and floral hints. 👄 = The cane charms the palate with roundness, slightly sweet and peppery, with a touch of plum and minerality. The normal length offers a menthol note. A beautiful cuvée that everyone will enjoy in cocktails or neat 👌

Today a lineup with 8 unaged rums. 4 of them based on sugar cane juice and 4 on molasses. This rum was the best of the Agricole flight. It’s basically a terroir rum. Sugar cane from a defined plot. Steep slope and long fermentation. On the nose, classic Neisson Agricole. But less cane sugar sweetness, instead a bit more grassy green herbal notes. Somehow drier and more mineral compared to the other Neisson representatives in the flight. On the palate, also the Neisson DNA. But again less sweet aromatics and more mineral notes. The finish is medium-long and similar. Great for drinking neat. Also a lot of fun as a Caipirissima. A recommended Neisson bottling if you prefer a bit less cane sugar sweetness.
