A rum tasted at WLP 26. A mechanical workshop nose with lots of woody vanilla or rather vanilla woody notes. Also some overripe tropical fruits. A powerful entry on the palate with strong mechanical workshop accents, rubber and tar, vanilla and old varnished wood. Fruits and a certain sweetness in the background. The finish is very long with a (too) strong acidity that gives liveliness. At the very end, the acidity is a bit too strong.

#7424 25.09.2026 - 28.09.2026 Attending the Whisky Live in Paris 2026 with a few good friends. We had a great time and it was nice to introduce them to this event which was a first for them. Quick notes while tasting.
