#7410 25.09.2026 - 28.09.2026 Attending the Whisky Live in Paris 2026 with a few good friends. We had a great time and it was nice to introduce them to this event which was a first for them. Quick notes while tasting. Balanced, varnish, sugarcane, fruits, spice, olive, floral, salt, honey, pastries, roasted wood, light smoke, ginger, light chocolate.

A rum tasted at WLP in 2026. A powerful nose of overripe tropical fruits and glue. Wood supports it. The entry on the palate is broad, powerful with two esters and very ripe tropical fruits. Then the aromas rise even more. The finish is medium-long but fruity acidity lingers for a very long time.

Tasted at Whisky Live Paris 2026. 5 year aged Clairin from Michel Sajous. Excellent marriage of distillate character and cask. Despite being sceptical of ageing Clairin, this works brilliantly. The character of the Sajous is still evident with some really development in the barrel. Flowers, sweet and sharp fruit, brine and some sweet woodiness. Excellent bottling.
