Tasted at WLP 2026 The rum was prominently displayed during the fair. So, initial expectations were therefore a bit high. Maybe too high. Both smell and taste were good but there was no 'wow' factor. Not sure which price this bottle goes. But I would not pay more than €70,-. Disappointing in that sense. The same goes for the 2018 edition.

Tasted this rum during the Whisky Live Paris 2026. It’s distilled in a double retort pot still, aged in bourbon barrels before bottled in 900 bottles. Overall an full-bodied, complex and balanced rum. It’s fruity, spicy, sweet, medicinal, woody, acidic and tangy with notes of tropical fruits, citrus, chocolate and cinnamon. The finish is rather long.
