Savanna Onerum by Oneshoz 2027 (Rhum Traditionnel)
The easy daily drinker most tasters kept reaching for — a Savanna blend of ester, molasses and cane juice at a friendly 52%. Fresh sugarcane and grassy agricole lead, then banana, pineapple and citrus come through with the wood sitting well back. Give it ten minutes in the glass and it really opens up. Light, fruity, nothing to prove.

Tasted this rum, yet not released at the market, during Whisky Live Paris 2026. The nose is fresh, smooth, fruity, vegetal and woody with scents of citrus, peaches, pineapple and sugarcane. At the palate it’s delicious, complex, sweet, woody, vegetal, spicy, fruity and roasted with flavors of caramel, sugarcane, peaches and esters. The finish is rather long.

A new bottling from Savanna, which can be seen more as an everyday sipper. The nose is delicately fruity with hints of strawberry and sweet cherry. On the palate, it shifts more and more towards a spicy, vegetal direction... the finish follows suit.

#7396 25.09.2026 - 28.09.2026 Attending the Whisky Live in Paris 2026 with a few good friends. We had a great time and it was nice to introduce them to this event which was a first for them. Quick notes while tasting. Fresh, ester, fruity, herbs, floral, olive, salt, caramel, roasted wood, nuts, pastried, sugarcane.

Savanna Masterclass: a really good young and fresh agricole blend with light ester aromas on the palate, probably contributed by the 6-year-old AGA. Needs some time in the glass to fully develop its aroma spectrum.

Online Savanna masterclass as part of WLP 2026 Savanna diluted down to 52%, probably aimed at the lower price segment. At first, nothing in the nose that really grabs or excites me. On the palate, a pleasant impression of sugarcane, light sweetness, and spicy Agricole notes. Easy sipper that develops a bit more punch in the glass over time.

Light on the nose and palate. Beautiful grassy notes of classic Agricole, alongside some pineapple. The alcohol is well integrated. Tastes good.

Savanna Masterclass Tasting September 2026 (unfortunately caught up alone): Unfortunately, it doesn't convince me. Steaks too light, a bit too simple, alcohol a bit annoying. Everything, except the alcohol, a bit too little.

Tasted in the RumX Savanna Masterclass on 25.09.2026. It develops really well over time if you let it sit a bit and sip it slowly. Very fruity with a nice agricole note.

Savanna Masterclass tasting. Rest of the samples tasted calmly afterwards. Light yellow-gold color. A rum reduced to 52% with agricole components. The nose impression is mild and rather unspecific. Similar to Le Must. Nice aroma on the palate. First vegetal aromas and quite spicy notes. Then follows the sugarcane sweetness in a fruity, slightly creamy way. This impression also defines the medium-long finish. A very drinkable rum for every day. Great.

Savanna Masterclass 2026 Smells fresh, sugarcane, then slightly woody. Floral notes on the palate, menthol at the end

Online RumX Savanna Tasting from 25.09.2026 As EMJ (Ester, Molasses and Juice) a blend of all three types, aged 5-6 years. Fresh agricole nose with strong citrus influence, the wood is far in the background. The aromas are dominated by lemon, lime, banana, grass and tropical fruits.

Not 100% convinced by this rum. It is meant as a lighter and affordable daily rum. In that aspect it might succeed but it does not make me want it more. It needs some time in the glass to open up. The finish was the best part for me. It really brings you a variety of flavours to enjoy.

Great blend of GA & Agricole, yummy
Review by Martin Mihaly
For me, a nice well-rounded rum, slightly fruity on the nose, sweet, round, young wood. On the palate, intense, very fruity, woody, a bit sweet, banana and pineapple, oak, a bit peppery. Very good rum from Savanna. The ABV might be a bit high but otherwise good to drink. The finish is very fruity and warm. Definitely worth having on the shelf.
