Well, we have a spiced rum here. I find it quite okay, there are worse spiced rums. You can taste the cinnamon quite well. Mixed with cola it probably makes a great long drink.

I got this one on my visit in Dubrovnik. Well, it’s spiced. I just wanted to try it because I didn’t have William Grant yet. To be honest it met my low expectations. I think it’s an ideal choice for mixology experiments.

Will leave the bottle at the next party. Rating lowered to 5.5. 2022 Rated 60 without comment

Not used to spiced rums, but this one didn't impress me. Even spiced it is a bit too sharp, burny and astringent to me. Smells better, sweeter and milder than it tastes, where it the spice is a bit too much and contributes to rather than tames the alcoholic burn. Butterscotch, caramel and vanilla on the nose. Spicy, coffee and oily on the palate. Forgetable finish with too much burn. Will not buy again.

I will say for a spiced rum I was expecting more flavor, the vanilla is subtle and artificial like. Also feels a bit alcoholic.
