#7439 743925.09.2026 - 28.09.2026 Attending the Whisky Live in Paris 2026 with a few good friends. We had a great time and it was nice to introduce them to this event which was a first for them. Quick notes while tasting. Intense, fresh, fruity, olive, salt, herbs, polish, glue, chocolate, roasted wood, ester, tannins, chocolate, leather, pastries.

Exceptionally good Worthy Park. Typical nutmeg notes on the nose and palate. Alcohol perfectly integrated and a great balance of spice, sweetness, and pleasant acidity. One of my top highlights of Whisky Live Paris 2026.

Beautiful Worthy Park at top level. Nutmeg, dark chocolate, ginger, and green pepper. Some red fruit compote and green banana, with lots of tannins and sour astringent notes from the cask. No wonder with so much tropical aging. Great rum but Worthy Park still won't be my favorite profile! 😃

An unworthy Park surprise for Whisky Live 2026, and what a surprise! The nose has very intense notes of cheese in full fermentation that could disinfect the nostrils. Exotic fruits (pineapple, mango, banana) soften the nostrils against the esters (glue). Then come woody and spicy notes lying in ambush. An atypical and spicy profile. The attack on the palate is frank, directly plunged into the funk of esters, glue, and moldy cheese. The ripe tropical fruits come back with the same strength. However, there are sweet, caramelized, and spicy flavors (cinnamon, vanilla, chili) that round off the edges and somewhat recall the sensuality that Worthy Park can show. It's a funky, dry, and balanced profile, with very well-integrated alcohol. The finish is moderately long, with astringency gaining some ground on the palate. The profile becomes drier, spicier but retains an undeniable phenolic and fruity base. I would have liked a bit more character at the end to definitely leave a mark. An original, exuberant Worthy Park with a strong character, it’s a change from the more consensual bottlings we're used to seeing.
