Classically aged in ex-bourbon barrels, soft, well-balanced, with vanilla and caramel upfront, oak wood. Medium-long finish. Pleasant sweetness and woody notes. The higher alcohol content of 44.4% brings out a lot more of this compared to the classic Malteco bottlings. I’ll definitely keep an eye on the annual vintage release in the future. Clearly meant for beginners.
