The little king blanc as it is written in the book. Fresh, intense sugarcane notes, light yeast, fresh raspberries, and green apple. Very round and definitely awesome in a daiquiri and punch. But also really very round neat. Nice bottling.

Very interesting On the nose, you get the feeling of some kind of American candy, at least this sweet smell reminds me of that before it shifts to a vegetal sea salt. In the mouth, it’s still sweet without really being sweet, it turns vegetal and tea-like but somehow never quite specific. The finish stays floral, tea-like but rather short and crisp. I’m not exactly sure what you’d use this rum for, so only 6.5 points, but it’s very interesting and tastes pretty good.

A new The Spirit traveller from Wagemut. This time an Agricole from Madeira by O Reizinho. On the nose, there's an intense cane sugar that is reflected on the palate. Flavor-wise, it tastes like sea, brine, olive. Could be a bit fuller-bodied. The finish is a bit too short because of that. But overall, it's a great little dram.

My first Rhum Agricole. And right away such a beast. Simply pure cane, in its best form. The nose is even better than the taste. But the taste is also intense, cane, citrus fruits, and somehow a hint of licorice. I would say it's great for beginners, because I am one and I really like this product.

First unaged rum from Madeira for me. Feels fresh, the vegetal notes come through very pleasantly. This one would definitely make a nice Ti Punch. For my taste, it could have had a few more degrees of ABV, but it's certainly well suited for a start.

Vegetal floral nose, a somewhat milky sweet smell. Floral on the palate, overall very light. Unfortunately absolutely not my taste.
