Absolutely positively surprising. Great aroma, pleasant sweetness, and very well integrated alcohol. Nice bottling.

Tasted at SDR ‘26. Straight from the glass you get almost overwhelming medicinality starting with wafts of furniture polish before pinetree bark, charred wood chips and strong black tea appear. There is a prominent note of savory and barbecue spice throughout the nose. On the palate young and one-dimensional. Some dried fruit and mint, but primarily more furniture polish, charred woods, burnt sugar and seasalt. It has a bit of an alcohol sting, and the finish is very véry dry. Not my most prefered profile. It’s clearly a decent product, but too untamed at this stage.

Color is pale. Aroma very fruity, coconut-vanilla and a bit of funk. Taste is the classic Barbados style. And it's more fun than the classic FS.
