On a trip to Belgium, I discovered the Chemistry&Botanics bar, I definitely recommend! They let me try this Sajous, the cask had an extremely minimal impact on the rum, it's very close to the base product. Cane juice, vegetal, the cask might have added some roundness, but very little.

Finally trying this one in the bar it has been selected. To the Rhum! Nose : olive, brine, sugar cane, rubbery? Some kind of plastic Taste : olive, black tea, funky, sugar cane, bitter almond Finale : medium, olive, light wood Caroni is a bit lost but shapes the rum, gives a backbone to a young and wild Clairin
