Saint James, Millésime 1982, 43% This precious bottle is, by itself, a concentrate of history: all in raciness and elegance. Nose: Ultra pleasant, rancio, tangy fruit candy, fresh, leather, slight animal note. With aeration a bit of port. Palate: Fruity, soft, honey, apricots. Ultra pleasant, well cooked, a bit fatty (but also a little watery). Finish: Apricots, rancio, light spices, wood a bit more present.

Great nose, a little bit too woody and bitter when it comes to drink. A piece of history that would have deserved a proper situation without the hurry a festival brings with him

This particular release has a nice light wood profile and that combined with the fruits is a good mix. Nicely rounded and oily in the palate. Just love it.
