A friend told me, hey I found this bottle in my grandmother's cellar if you want to taste it. Knowing Negrita for pastry, I didn't expect to taste such a different rum. It's 44°. It's much softer on the nose and taste. On the palate it's very disorienting, I find a vegetal and floral side, almost medicinal. For me it's not extraordinary either, but still surprising.

A Jamaican nose with tropical fruits, fruit pastes and esters but as if veiled, diluted. The first sip is soft, diluted but the fruits are there, fruit pastes and tropical. The finish is rather short but fruity. A rum lacking complexity and depth but very drinkable.

15.11.2019 Having a great tasting event at this old hotel meeting new people. Notes Medium to dark in colour. Nose Light wood, vanilla, fruits, grass, light Agricole, faint medicinal. Palate Wood, tannins, spicy, medium dry, light medicinal, herbs, vanilla, fruits. Finish Medium long, wood, warm, medium dry, light medicinal, fruits. Extra note Performs very well in a RumNCoke.
