Blend of 8-10 yo rum from different places in the Caribbean and South America. The significant aromas and flavors is coffee, vanilla and caramel. It’s also well balanced but the finish is unfortunately rather short.

06.02-08.02.2026 Retasting at The Village in Nürnberg and I still don't like it that much. A very sweet rum. ----------- Also very sweet but a bit less fruity than the previous one. Still a light rum, would have loved a higher ABV.

This rum is really quite a nice sipper. Nothing special, but quite good. The nose consists mainly of caramel, coffee and vanilla. On the palate then also a pleasant sweetness, vanilla, chocolate, caramel and coffee here.

Surprisingly good on the nose, the roasty notes such as coffee or cocoa are program, rounded off by sweet caramel. In the mouth very unspectacular mild and thin. There is nothing new really, the main flavors run through from start to finish. Compared to the other projects, a pleasant change.

im Gegensatz zu den anderen Old man Abfüllungen scheint hier ein zwar gesüßter aber sonst eher natürlicher Rum vorzuliegen. riecht zimtig und schokoladig. Schmeckt süß und nach verschiedenen Gewürzen.

Interesting note of coffee and a little cocoa on the nose. Also on the palate you taste the coffee alongside vanilla, wood and roasted aromas. It tastes a little sweetened, but within limits. Alcohol well integrated and not too weak. Very suitable for an introductory tasting.

As a spiced rum, not bad at all. Solid base, plus the desired coffee aromas. Then of course the obligatory, in my eyes unnecessary sugar for this type. If you like sweetened rum and coffee, you can definitely try this one…

It reminds me of Dictador but a little bit diluted in taste. 👃 is bit alcoholic but sweet and spicy. 👅 gives coffee, sweetness and brown sugar. As said reminds me of diluted dictador. Finish is medium long. Retaste: Spicy sweet piece. Although it really does remind me of dictador.

Nice how different types of chocolate take turns here. On the nose it's still milk chocolate, in the mouth you find light white chocolate, and in the finish it suddenly turns into bitter dark chocolate. Otherwise, a good rum at a fair price.

In der Nase intensives Toffee, etwas Vanille, etwas Rosine und ein Geruch der an Kaugummi erinnert. Im Glas ein Bernsteinfarbton und eine ölige Anmutung. Auf der Zunge intensiv Vanille, etwas Rosinen, jedoch vom Mundgefühl eher wässrig. Der Abgang ist eher schwach und bringt etwas süßliche Vanille zum Vorschein.

You can smell caramel and coffee, the smell is soft but intense, very nice. The taste is sharpy with toffee flavour. There is no aftertaste, maybe I can compare it with the taste after the sweet called Toffifee. But nothing remindable.
