Rum from Madeira that after three years in cask aged another 9 months on board a sailing ship. Sounds a bit like a marketing gimmick, but of course doesn't have to be bad. Unfortunately, in the mouth it is surprisingly bland and disappointing. Nose: Grapes, sweetness and after a few minutes in the glass spices come through. Palate: very neutral, alcoholic. Finish: immediately clearly bitter and then some sweetness.
