Ein erstes kleines Highlight im Tasting. Man schmeckt zum ersten Mal die Fasslagerung leicht heraus. Endlich mal etwas runder mit gut integriertem Alkohol.

Arturs Puerto Rico Tasting, danke für die tolle Übersicht und Historie :-) Ein weiterer lecker Sipper, diesmal mit ein wenig Pflaume und Honig die die Vanille ergänzt. Hintenraus eine leichte Schärfe

06.12.2024 The liquid History of Puerto Rico Tasting Erstmal vielen Dank an Artur für die extreme Mühe und dass du teilweise so alte Rums überhaupt teilst. Die Rums selber waren jetzt bis auf ein paar wenige Ausnahmen nicht wirklich der Knaller, ABER mir hat es trotzdem sehr gut gefallen, da man solche Rums überhaupt nicht mehr ins Glas bekommt als Normalsterblicher und dieses ganze Hintergrundwissen das Artur geteilt hat finde ich wahnsinnig interessant. Da ziehe ich wirklich den Hut davor. Dicker Respekt!

Tasting of Artur's Puerto Rico rums. A fruity nose with plum and alcohol. On the palate, some fruit, apple and plum, and neutral alcohol. The finish is a little longer than previous rums, with a sort of apple alcohol remaining for quite a long time. The wood is very well integrated. The neutral alcohol is too pronounced throughout the tasting to give a good score.

The liquid History of Puerto Rico Tasting - riecht anfangs wie ein gealterter Bacardi Blanca. Den Fasseinfluss schmeckt man nun stärker, daneben die typischen Vanille und Süßaromen. Alkohol kommt im Abgang etwas durch.

4,8:On the nose, the first impression we get is very alcoholic, a bit metallic, then with roasted wood, some wood spice, tobacco and honey, plum. 6,4:On the palate, the attack is more pleasant with dried fruits, plum, apple, caramelized wood and chocolate, vanilla, molasses brings some tobacco. 6,2:The finish is medium long, with dry wood, vanilla, tannic, some apples and quite alcoholic...

Insgesamt eine definitiv runde Nummer, die pur funktioniert ohne sonderlich aussagekräftig zu sein. Macht sich sicherlich gut im Cuba Libre & co, pur ist er mir allerdings ein Tick zu dünn und wässrig.
