A nose of dried herbs, freshness, dried apricot and other fruits, and woodiness that's present but discreet. The palate is more interesting, sweet, herbaceous, slightly mentholated, floral with lemon and a light spiciness. The finish is moderately long, but all the flavors of the palate persist and gently fade away. A very fine, balanced, complex rum. It lacks the watts to challenge the best.

Slowly I thought to myself, you have to dare to try these old rare treasures. Although I’m not a big Agricole fan, I have to admit that this old bottling is very successful. I think with a few % more it would have scored even better.

This is one of my old tasting which I habe begun adding and most og them I don't have a lot of notes on. I do however have the flavour sheets :-)

Nice old-school agricole with that typical perfume note that I appreciate, as well as a balanced overall profile. Not at the top level in terms of intensity and complexity, but still a nice piece of history in the glass.
