Diamond Distillery - Guyana Compagnie des Indes Distilled: 04.2008 Bottled: 03.2018 Aged 9 Years DDL Port Mourant Still 55% Cask No. GPM 42 Bottle No. 274 of 300 Bottles Melasse-Rum Farbe: Weisswein Geruch: Sehr fruchtig, offenbart sich bereits beim Eingießen ins Glas. Riecht intensiv nach Birnensaft. Zudem süß, mit Parfum- und viel Ester-Aromen. Geschmack: Leicht, süß, cremig und fruchtig im Mund. Dann würzig beim schlucken. Im Geschmack immer noch süß und fruchtig, Birnenkuchen. Insgesamt sehr würzig mit Kümmel. Abgang: Trocken und würzig-scharf mit trocken-bitterem Nachgeschmack.

This one left not much of an impression. It is not bad tasting, and I was drinking this easily by the side, but there was nothing to make me interested for more. Light for a Demerara Rum, or even a Port Mourant. Positive is the fact that it does have not much of an alcoholic burn.
