Saint James Rhum Saint James
Aimed at people already into aged agricole, this Saint James leans heavy on old varnished wood, cocktail cherry and dried herbs, with a port-like grape-and-berry side. A few tasters catch a soapy, metallic, almost glue-like edge in the nose. At 47% it's surprisingly soft for the flavor it carries, though one fan wished for a touch more strength.
- Lots of cherry
- Soft for ABV
- Complex and spicy

How does Saint James Rhum Saint James taste?
Aggregated from 15 community reviews.
Woody, cherry-rich aged agricole sipper Most rate it a very good aged agricole — lots of cherry, wood and herbs from a low ABV. The catch: a couple find the oak too dominant or a soapy note off-putting.
Fans of aged, woody agricole with red-fruit depth
Anyone put off by heavy oak or soapy notes

Review by Lukas Jäger
Richtig stark.

Lecker.

Undoubtedly a very good rum. Concentrated and multi-layered Agricole. Notes of red wine or port, light bitter notes of zest, perfumed tobacco. Overall, however, the wood is too present and engaging in the mouth. The finish is tasty and long.
