Celkem příjemná vůně, ovoce, vanilka, koření, atd. Bohužel chuť je jedna velká nuda. Trocha ovoce, karamel, propsaný sud, cukr. Jako aperitiv po obědu může být, ale jako rum k večerní pohodě to za mě není.

Gourmand comme un mélasse mais sympathique sur le chocolat café. Nez et bouche en accord, avec une bouche tout de même assez sucré , gourmand dans ces notes.

24 Days of Rum, Blue Edition, Day 23 Fruity, fresh, slightly pleasant nose ... all good. On the palate, mainly wood and a disturbing aroma that I can't define. The finish leaves a slightly metallic impression and an itch on the palate. This is not my kind of rum at all.

Nose: very Spanish. Caramel and burnt sugar. Not unpleasant per se. Hint of bitterness. Taste: peppery, more bitterness. Bitter orange. American oak. Not too sweet. Short finish. Better than expected.

Sample no.23 of the 24 days of rum calendar 2023. Sweet rum with vanilla and honey on the nose, wood and dried raisins after a while. Taste is warm and sweet and with a subtle tone from the sherry casks. Sweet but a bit leathery and dry in the finish. Still a nice sipper but the XO is better.

Time to finish up 1423's "24 days of Christmas". The rum from day 23, is from Cartavio. I find to have a nose of dried fruit and some wood. In the notes I found a well rounded sweetness, with hints of vanilla and caramel, and a wood and spicy finish.

👃 is a bit chemical but overall sweet vanilla tones accompanied with peppery elements and lot's of wood. 👅 provides sweetness but full of oaky barrell notes with spiciness from the charred barrell. Raisins and overall burnt tones accompany you through the very short finish.

I was not expecting much from this one, but was pleasantly surprised. Strong oaky flavors straight; but mixed, not quite as much. Should make a good sipper.

"Oh boy, at this point I have barely anything to say. There is an army of these types of rum. And they are completely lost in me. Maybe they really excel with cigars but otherwise this is expensive sweetened rum I don't care too much for..."
