Konečně jsem se dostal k ochutnání této historie. Jedná se o Green Label Demerara rum 1975 od bottlera Cadenheaďs. Lahve z roku 1975 jsou 4 a to 40% 40,3% 40,5% a 40,6% . Každá byla lahvována v jinším roce. Ja měl možnost si vychutnat láhev 40%., která byla lahvována v roce 2012 tzn že byla v sudu téměř 37let. Nikde jsem se bohužel nedopátral kolik let byl sud v tropech a kolik ve Skotsku. Rum byl destilován v archivním dvojitém kotlíkovém zařízení vyrobeném ze dřeva zvaném Port Mourant. Při tak malé voltáži jsem byl mile překvapen výraznou vůní a plnou hutnou chutí. Vůně dřevitost, rozinky a káva . Chuť těžká dřevitá po sudu, která jde přes hořkou čokoládu, kávu až k závěru do lékořice. Za mě 8,6 z 10. Škoda, že neměl více % to bych hodnotil lépe

03.06.2008 Relaxing with a few friends, food as well as beer in the evening. Notes Very dark in colour. Nose Woody, roasted, light caramel, nutty, light coffee, plum. Palate Round, wood, roasted, plum, ginger, spice, light, dried fruit. Finish Light, short to medium, wood, anise, raisin, spice.
