Impressive St. Lucia - fruit, freshness, some wood and spice...not only in view of the release price at the time an absolutely outstanding release. From today's perspective, hardly imaginable to get this quality at such prices. Excellent.

Schöne Abfüllung. Wenn die vielleicht noch paar Umdrehungen mehr gehabt hätte. Fruchtig nach Mango, Honig, Gewürze, etwas medizinisch, ganz leicht rauchig, feine Teenote. Der Abgang ist leider zu schwach. Hat mir trotzdem gut gefallen.

Oh wie schön der Duft den Raum erfüllt. Es ist ein blumig-fruchtig-würziger. Da kommt aber auch gleich eine deutliche Apfelessig-Note, nicht unangenehm. Frucht geht in Richtung Banane und überreife Mandarine. Leicht Vanille und holzige Aromen. Am Gaumen dann wenig fruchtig, eher würzig holzig, fast ein salziger Anklang. Geht über in etwas leicht bitteres, wie nasse grüne Teeblätter. Aber auch leicht süß, vielleicht schwarze Johannisbeere oder grüne Mango. Im Abgang bleibt Grüntee und ja, grüne Mango. Gefällt.

Only 6 years were more than enough to produce such a nice, balanced and slightly herbal rum! Pineapple, mango and banana well mixed with black tea and a light medicine note..truly noteworthy!

In der Nase überwiegen Ester und Frucht..am Gaumen erst eine kurze Süße, die sich sofort in Schwarztee, leicht bitter und holzig werdend wandelt… der Abgang ist angenehm cremig, holzig und leicht nach Leder schmeckend! Ein recht komplexer edler Rum

Im Gegensatz zu den div. 50% John Dore I / 50% Vendome Abfüllungen, ist die Haromex eine reine Vendome Abfüllung, was sie wiederum auch interessant macht. An der Nase erstaunlich schwer und ‚tief‘ für die 6 Jahre im Fass. Viele Gewürze, Trockenfrüchte, Mango, Karamell und leicht medizinisch. Das setzt sich auch am Gaumen fort. Im Abgang kommt noch etwas Tabak und (fermentierter) Tee dazu Gefällt mir ausgesprochen gut!

Die drei Haromex-Abfüllungen habe ich lange gesucht, St Lucia mag ich und die Bewertungen machen sehr neugierig. Jetzt habe ich sie verkostet und muss schlussfolgern: lecker, aber es gibt inzwischen auf dem Markt deutlich bessere Abfüllungen in der Chairman‘s Reserve Masters Selection Reihe.

an der Nase zuerst junges Holz, würzig, dann immer fruchtiger nach Ananas, Papaya und Karamell werdend, dann geht's immer mehr in eine floral pflanzliche Richtung wie Sesam, Thymian (zataar Gewürzmischung)... spannend. Geschmacklich dann eher leicht süßlich fruchtig, in Honig gedippte mango, Ananas, dazu wieder gerösteter Sesam und Thymian und Mandarinenschale, im Abgang dann etwas Holziger, würziger Holziger werdend richtung Schwarztee mit Pfirsich, Kräutern und Piment und Papaya. sehr schönes Beispiel vendome Style! 🇱🇨🤤
