6,3:On the nose, the first impression is dry, woody. The dominant aroma is clearly caramel. This is followed by roasted chocolate notes, nuts, coconut, there is some cinnamon.We could clearly notice ex bourbon cask ageing, as some yellow fruits appear, some orange peel. Finally, a touch of vanilla appears. 6,3:On the palate, the attack is supple but dry, with no sugar. The same aromas are present as on the nose, wood, bourbon, chocolate, roasted nuts, caramel, some spice. However, chocolate and caramel are even.Although the palate is rather light, the tastings buds are well cared. 6:The finish is medium long and still woody, dry. The same notes remain, with some spice.

Good for what it costs. Tastes a bit flat but i do like the finish although it's rather short. Not too sweet either.

Very mild and light rum with rather minimal aromas both in the nose and taste. Pleasant neat, without sharp edges, making it a solid and affordable mixer. Doesn't stand out in Ginger Beer, very light rum mule. Drinks: - Neat: 3.5/5 - Rum Cola: 3.5/5 - Rum Mule: 2.5/5

Smell: barrel, coconut flakes, hazelnut, lime, almonds with skin, grapefruit, cinnamon. Taste: chocolate, nuts, wood, vanilla, nutmeg, white pepper, coconut flakes. Finish: spicy, quickly fading but pleasant, hazelnut, coffee, cane sugar.

This rum is also more for someone who drinks it with cola. My first rum made from sugarcane juice. But quite thin on the palate and finish. However, the price/enjoyment ratio is pretty good. Clearly cheaper again than, for example, the Mount Gay Eclipse, which I also see more as a drink with cola or similar.

A really simple nose, very little detail aside from sweetness and a bit of alcohol sharp. On taste, however, smooth milky coconut cream. Finish is again coconut milk, thick and creamy and oily. Surprisingly good taste, dull nose.

This brings back too many memories early on my rum journey to not rate in the mid range . A typical Spanish rum that you wouldn't dare drink neat but when put with mixers and all inclusive.cocktails is good

Somewhat bland in taste, very sweet and the taste doesn't stay with you long after tasting either. Otherwise, this is good to drink and especially for this price
