Interesting, my first rum from Australia. Unfortunately, not really my thing. Very dry and tastes very herbal, strongly in the direction of a Scotch whisky. So certainly interesting for people with the right taste

Unfortunately, the alcohol is a bit too present on the nose as well as on the palate but after a little rest the fruity and spicy notes are interesting. 🙂🙂

wow, what an incredibly fruity nose! fresh, fully ripe mirabelle plum and apricot pure, as well as rose petal water, plus a little ginger and nutmeg, subtle pear and ester. The taste is again mirabelle plum and apricot, but also spicy with star anise, nutmeg, vanilla pulp and spicy ginger. Long finish of wood, leather, black tea, as well as rose, ginger and pear. very nice, that's how I imagine it! more of this please!

On the nose, it initially comes across very fresh. Freshness from alcohol and citrus fruits. But there is also something muted, soapy behind it. The freshness is underlined by green apple and juicy pear. At the back, a slight caramel note can be perceived. On the palate, quite spicy. Still, it has a bitter freshness, like lime peel. Nutmeg, vanilla, and licorice are present. Oh, and there is something metallic, slightly soapy with lemon balm, like on the nose. Overall, not quite my taste, but not bad either.

Exciting and different, spicy and woody. On the nose also vegetal-floral and an unusual fruitiness. The alcohol is very present, at the same time the rum fills the entire mouth. Not bad, but also not a highlight. Nevertheless, another exciting corner of rum that clearly shows the incredible breadth.
