CDI Hampden Jamaica (Bottled for Germany) DOK 2009
"A bit more juvenile in taste" is how one taster put it, and that fits — this is a full-throttle Hampden DOK. Glue, nail polish remover and overripe pineapple hit hard on the nose, then citrus, marzipan and a little salty, astringent funk on the palate. At 60% the alcohol stays well integrated. A few find it slightly thin and edgy, but most love the ester hit.
- Big ester funk
- Pineapple and citrus
- Well-integrated 60%

How does CDI Hampden Jamaica (Bottled for Germany) DOK 2009 taste?
Aggregated from 41 community reviews.
Pineapple-and-glue Hampden DOK, intense and dry Most rate it highly — a fruity, glue-and-pineapple DOK with surprisingly well-integrated heat. The catch: it turns dry, salty and slightly medicinal on the palate, which costs it a few points.

Favorite DOK, best PLV and just a Brett🤙🏼an the nose full broadside glue and nail polish remover, plus pineapple, green apple, mirabelle, some yogurt, grapefruit peel, butter brioche and honey banana...taste then for 60% DOK very smooth, creamy and funky after glue and pineapple, fully ripe mirabelle, honeydew melon and salty brioche butter bun with baked honey banana. very awesome.... then in the finish comes surprisingly dark chocolate and some toffee, plus again the pineapple and mirabelle. absolutely terrific just! 🙏

C.D.I. a vraiment réussis à dégotter quelques bons fûts en Jamaïque

Deshalb etwas schlechter bewertet.

Sensational MaiTai!!!!

Due to the slight dilution quite accessible and "relaxed" for a DOK. Compared to the TRC DOK more fruit and a bit wilder.

A bit more juvenile in taste. Nevertheless intense. Noticeable more adstringent that other casks.

Quite nice but I expected something more with the many good reviews. For me a little too thin. Unfortunately, does not quite meet my taste.
