On the nose an interesting play of resin, vanilla, and a hint of balsamic. This profile is also found on the palate, where notes of honey and dark caramel also appear. Overall a rounded thing and a good introduction to the world of sugarcane honey. Originally I wanted to give a score of 6.0, but then I was so impressed by the resin/balsamic note that I decided on 6.9.
