Absolute CDI insider tip, unfortunately also the almost only single cask Indonesia & Batavia Arrack I know. But an absolute beast and an amazing experience... too bad my bottle is empty.

Interesting and very special profile. Couldn't assign it anywhere in the blind tasting. An exciting experience, but not really my taste.

Tasted again together with the Indonesia 2015 from the Flensburger Rum Company Awakening Series. The CDI is quite thin in comparison, both on the nose and on the palate. No edges, no corners, hardly any finish.

Well, this one didn't hit my taste. At first, the nose had a hefty dose of wine, citrus fruits are also very clearly recognizable. On the palate very fresh, lemon and mint dominate here.

Had a wonderful tasting event yesterday with only good CDI rums. This one is the fifth one of the six. This rum sets of with a wonderful nose and then transcends into a bliss on the palate despite the relative young age. A well balanced, light and sweet non pretentious rum that you can sip without adding water. The finish is a bit short compared to the average CDI rums.
