7,8:The nose immediately takes on concentrated American oak, with some bourbon aromas. The white wood is justly toasted, gripping the nose just enough to deliver a intensity of vanilla and coconut. Aeration reveals a slightly lighter rum, with some pale fruity notes. The wood is toasted, slightly smoky, floral notes. 7,5:On the palate, the rum is both savory and light, with molasses in the typical style of Cuban tradition. The American oak barrel delivers all it can of gourmet notes such as vanilla, coconut, pear, banana and sweet caramel. Yet the texture remains fluid and light, the rum lightly tingling the taste buds with spiciness. 7,5:The finish brings us closer to a more strongly toasted oak, with dark chocolate, then going deeper into its molten fiber. All is well balanced and smooth. Simple and enjoyable. Edit:1.7.25

Tasted after a 4-year-old and an 8-year-old from the same house. This one is unquestionably the best, and the only one that comes close to a tasting rum. The woodiness is present throughout the tasting, bringing body to a soft, sweet rum. Surprisingly long, darker finish. Not bad.

Woody and fruity on the nose. Raisins, tobacco and tropical fruit on the palate. I drank it with friends as a Cuba Libre and I really enjoyed it. However, it also leaves a good impression when enjoyed on its own. One of Bacardi's best, but not a high-flyer either.

Okish, very light overall with the exception of wood and some spices. I also get the molasses it's made from (especially after some days of Agricole). Drinkable, nothing special, but very much an improvement of the default offerings from Bacardi.

Today I was talked into tasting some of the better Bacardi versions and I don't regret it because now I tried those as well.

One of the first "supermarket" rums from Bacardi I've come across, that is actually a decent sipper, whereas a lot of the others are mainly for mixing. In the nose I got hints of dried fruits and I get notes of fresh fruits and vanilla

Not bad at all for a Bacardi! On the nose, it reminds me of black olives at first. Quite peculiar. After a while, more fruity and spicy aromas emerge. On the palate, tobacco and some smoke are also noticeable. These also remain in the. Finish, alongside apricot. And olives on the side!

Not a bad rum for the price, since I drank it with Dictador 12 and I gave it a 7; I give it a 6.8. It seemed like the nosing was a little unnatural, but maybe that's just my perception.

The nose is a little sharp. Woody with hints of creme brulee and tobacco. Peppery. A rounder palate than the nose would suggest. Vanilla and caramel mixed with tonka beans and sweetened coffee towards the back end. The finish is a little short. Very rum and raisin ice cream. A flash of vanilla and raisin but goes as quickly as you notice. Not bad for Bacardi but there is better out there.

Very pleasant, sweet and a bit spicy. Best Bacardi I've yet tried.
