Probably the rarest Nine Leaves. And the most mysterious. When you have it in the glass, you immediately know the Nine-Leaves hour has struck. Unmistakable compared to rum from other distilleries, unique selling point. Well, not to smell or taste it among other rums from the (now unfortunately discontinued!) Nine-Leaves range. But that doesn't matter, they're all actually good across the board. I like the Reverse anyway, even if the other tasters don't share my sake impression. 😉 I'm glad to still own one of these rare bottles (discovered at a tobacco shop in northern Berlin at the time).

A different nineeaves, really reminds me a lot of a barley shochu. It's a very Japanese taste, I think it's a rum not for everyone. The alcohol pushes a bit too much, a flaw it shares with angel's half.

Rum that you either love or hate and I personally appreciate it a lot! The most whiskey-like rum there is, lots of cereals on the palate, spices... Alcohol a bit sharp on the nose and palate! The fun part is the unexpected sweetness that comes out in the finish!

Not only a super rare bottling but also really tasty. The Reverse brings the full Nine Leaves profile with lots of flavor and a great finish.
