unglaublich intensiv, Erdbeeren, Ester, rote Grütze, Sauerkirsche an der Nase. Am Gaumen kommt Tabak und ganz stark Bourbon-Vanille, der Abgang ist rauchig, speckig...der absolute Hanmer, was CdI hier aufbietet!

Der Savanna ist für mich bis dato der beste, den ich im Glas hatte und kommt mit einer vollen Aromafracht von Jogurette, Mon Cherie und einer würzigen Frische (Obstkorb vermischt mit gehackter Minze) daher. Ein Traumstoff!

A great rum! Savanna moves for me more and more in the focus of enjoyment. This association of red tropical fruits, simply wonderful! Even if it does not seem to be a Grand Arome: This rum does not need to hide behind the Grand Arome of Rum Nation (RX7316), aged one year longer and highly appreciated by me. Wow, hier ist an der Nase direkt mal richtig was los und man könnte meinen, dass man es hier mit einem Jamaikaner zu tun hat. Auch am Gaumen super intensiv mit trop. Früchten, Ester, Kaugummi und Minze. Holt mich voll an und gefällt mir richtig gut!

Wahnsinn, ein Savanna HERR gelagert! Die Gummibärchen nicht mehr ganz so intensiv,dafür kommt das Fass in genialer Symbiose,absolut lecker. Die 61,6% sind nicht wahrnehmbar. Sehr schöner warmer Abgang mit frischer Minze die lange anhält.

Sehr fruchtig (Erdbeere,Ananas), Eisbonbon, etwas Minze und Vanille. Alkohol ist sehr gut integriert. Schöne angenehme Süße. Insgesamt ein sehr runder Savanna Rum. Schöne Abfüllung von Compagnie des Indes

Savanna Distillery 2007 Compagnie des Indes Bottled for Germany Distilled: 05.2007 Bottled: 06.2019 Aged 12 Years 61,6% Cask RRS197 One of 180 Bottles Melasse Rum, Column Still Herkunft: La Réunion Farbe: Leuchtender dunkler Bernstein Geruch: Mein erster Eindruck ist "fruchtiger Toffee". Der Geruch ist mild, aromatisch und fruchtig-esterig. Riecht nach Mon Cherie, Schokolade und Tabak. Geschmack: im Mund fruchtig-süß nach Maroni, Toffee und Tabak. Beim Schlucken vollmundig und würzig. Der Geschmack ist komplex nach Maroni, Sandelholz, Kautabak, Toffee, Karamell, Kakao und Holz mit einer leichten fruchtigen Süße (Kirsche) im Hintergrund. Insgesamt sehr intensiv, man meint fast ihn kauen zu können. Abgang: Sehr lang und würzig mit Sandelholz-Aromen. Trocken und sauber im Nachgeschmack. Wärmt von tief innen. Fazit: Ein toller Rum ... erstaunlich, dass der bei nur 180 Flaschen immer noch nicht ausverkauft ist. 89 Punkte

15.02.2020 Had a nice evening with dinner and everything and after that a nice little tasting. Notes. Medium dark colour. Nose Intense, fresh, wood, light roasted, fruity, cherry, light caramel. Palate Intense, round, wood, fruity, cherry, herbs, light ester. Finish Long, wood, light ester, cherry, herbs.

4 Savannas im Quervergleich: Sieger ist der CDI 2007, schön intensives GA Profil mit leichtem Holz und guter Balance. Knapp dahinter der Rum Nation mit ähnlichem Profil, aber ein wenig eindimensionaler. Platz 3 und Sieger des Herzens: Easy Peasy von Swell, trotz des jungen Alters eindeutig ein GA mit allem was dazu gehört, erstaunlich gut zu trinken und rund. Abgeschlagen der Unshared for Germany, im Direktvergleich ziemlich langweilig. Ist aber auch ein Traditional.

Sehr leckerer Savanna. Sehr Fruchtig (Erdbeeren und rote Früchte) schön Floral und Blumig. Damit kann man sich sehr lange ausgiebig beschäftigen denn er macht in der Nase und am Gaumen viel Spaß. Gib ihm 30min Zeit und er belohnt dich 😊
