11.10.2025 Retasting at the Whisky Live Hamburg. Still like it a lot. --------- I have bought the entire series and overall I think they're pretty good. The fruit is there from opening the bottle and it has a fresh grassy nose with a roasting note to it. The palate has less fruits but a flowery touch instead and it's lightly sweet with a hint of licorice. The finish is medium long and spicy with caramel. Price to quality is good.

First time tasting a Charamel!I found an interesting rum with very pronounced pepper and floral notes with the particularity that both the nose and the taste leaves you with a fresh and pleasant aroma.Overall not very complex but it surprised me pleasantly!

Am Samstag als ersten Rum auf der "Pueblo del ron" 2024 verkostet und ich weiß nicht, ob es an meinem heute noch jungfräulichen Gaumen liegt, aber dieser Rhum holt mich sehr ab. Sanft an Nase wie Gaumen, kaum grasig (für mich wichtig), trocken wirkend, Alkohol gut integriert. Vielleicht insgesamt schon fast ein bisschen langweilig, aber möglicherweise genau deshalb der richtige Starter heute, mir gefällt er.

Sample bottled at the Kirsch stand at the Pueblo del Ron in Nuremberg. I think it's by far my least favorite of the three in the series with the Monymusk and the Privateer. Agricole just isn't as much my thing as molasses is.

Sehr angenehmer chamarel. Nussig, blumig, floral und leicht würzig holzig bitter. Rose trifft auf Haselnuss, Lakritze und junges Eichenholz. Alkohol könnte etwas besser integriert sein, dazu eine leichte nougat süße und bittere Heu Note im Abgang. Erinnert auch bisschen an Calvados oder Williams Birne.

Ve vůni se mísí travnaté tóny, cukrová třtina, citrusy a něco trochu divného, asi jako zatuchlina a kůže. Chuť je poměrně umírněná. Nic moc nevyčnívá. Nejvíc asi propsaný sud, vanilka a trochu ořechy. Hodně useklý závěr.

Nice robe, appealing shine. Nose is interesting, not overpowering. Notes of exotic fruits, sweetness. Attack is stronger than the nose would suggest. Wood and spice coming along. Agreeable finish

Tasted after the rather sweet chamarel xo, I'll have to try it again in another context. Light, rather fresh nose. Some notes of cane. Pleasant but lacks a little personality. On the palate, the attack is also light but pleasant, with a few spicy notes that give way to the wood of the barrel. Long barrel finish, a little too bitter for my taste.

A fruity smell, a little caramel, spicy, a little alcoholic.The taste is slightly sweet, fruity, a little peppery and slight hints of sugar cane.

Immature peach Grassy Muscat Cinnamon I want add to this baked salmon, lemon and herbs. To be honest with all respect to VELIER, but I will prefer distillery bottlings. For me basic XO version easy beat this release from Velier.
