#6991 04.07.2026 Relaxing with some samples after a tough day both walking and biking for a change. Listening to some nice tracks by Rapid Eye, Markus Schulz, Funk Tribu, Anyma and Amelie Lens on Spotify. Pretty good rum with a very nice price tag in my mind. Smoky profile with nutts, roasted wood, herbs, fruits and spices.

Balanced WIRD profile with typical aromas of honey, citrus and tropical fruits, smoke, tea, olive, and a bit of salt. Well balanced, clearly less extreme than other representatives of the distillery and the vintage.

Delicious 2000 WIRD

For me a very good and typical WIRD with hints of the old 86 Rockley, I really like it! If you can criticize anything at all, it's the alcohol, which is quite noticeable for the 52% vol. But it is not disturbing and with a longer standing time in the glass with some temperature it balances the aromas again.
