Wow, despite the 43%, the nose is amazingly intense with a beautiful plum compote. Fantastic! The intensity continues on the palate, with roasted aromas, wood and a slight bitterness dominating alongside the plum.

This is a tasting from 10.05.2019 where I went out with a few colleagues for a nice tasting. Notes i have. Very dark and kind of light rum. ABV could have been higher but very well balanced. Slight medicibal touch like cough sirup to it.

After a long time, a sample of old Demerara. Dark mahogany color. Right on the first sniff you can smell burnt sugar, dark caramel, coffee, wood. On the palate, raisins including stems add bitterness at the end. Beautifully smooth, I don't feel the alcohol at all, a great piece.
