14.08.2020 Relaxing meet up at a local restaurant for food and rum. Notes Light to medium dark in colour. Nose Fresh, light, fruits, pineapple, light ester, light roasted wood. Palate Warm, light wood, fruits, pineapple, light citrus, faint floral, faint chocolate, medium dry. Finish Medium long, light wood, citrus, light floral, medium dry, faint chocolate. Extra note Needs to rest for a good while or the ABV will bite.

Very drinkable, light cinnamon note, rather little fruity, astringent, but alcohol not well integrated.

Nose quite tame on banana and orange, on the palate it's soft, there's fruit but also notes of tobacco. You can feel the year of finishing in whisky casks (Teeling). It's nice to warm up the palate but a bit too young and too tame for me.
