A very pleasant fruity scent on the nose. On the palate come coconut, vanilla and tropical fruits. It would be a good sweet rum if it weren't for this artificial, musty finish. OK for this price range, but there are better ones.

The nose wasn’t pleasant, but much better in mouth. The nose is fruity and round with an aroma of port. At the palate and during the rather long finish it’s fruity, dry and sweet with flavors of port. The finish is quite long and fruity.

For a 5 year old rum this is a pretty good result. This is a blend of different destillates from the island! This is a rum in the sweet end of the spectrum and maybe too sweet for many. A sweet well blended rum.

On the nose, lots of vanilla and caramel. On the palate, the dominant sweetness is joined by a fruity note with cherry aromas. A rather short, peppery finish. A very sweet spirit, but it can't hide its alcoholic notes.

I defend it! In my opinion, it's a very interesting quality-price ratio (66€ in France). Round, soft with fine notes of coffee and coconut. A favorite for me and many other customers. It's a guilty pleasure, a festive rum to drink with friends or with a cigar. Although more of a fan of complex rum, it didn't leave me indifferent.
