Je prend sa défense! A mon goût c'est un rapport qualité prix très intéressant (66€ en France). Rond, doux avec des fines notes de café et de coco. Un coup de cœur pour moi et de nombreux autres clients. C'est un plaisir coupable, un rhum festif a boire entre amis ou avec un cigare. Bien que plus amateur de rhum complexe, il ne m'a pas laissé indifférent

The nose wasn’t pleasant, but much better in mouth. The nose is fruity and round with an aroma of port. At the palate and during the rather long finish it’s fruity, dry and sweet with flavors of port. The finish is quite long and fruity.

In der Nase ein sehr angenehm fruchtiger Duft. Am Gaumen kommen Kokos, Vanille und tropische Früchte dazu. Es wäre ein guter Süßrum, wenn da nicht dieser künstlich, modrige Abgang wäre. Für diese Preisklasse OK, gibt aber bessere.

For a 5 year old rum this is a pretty good result. This is a blend of different destillates from the island! This is a rum in the sweet end of the spectrum and maybe too sweet for many. A sweet well blended rum.
