26.06.2025 Retasting and I stick to my score. --------------- 17.08.2019 Spending a nice evening with the guys, good food and several different rums. Colour Dark in colour. Nose Fresh, sweet, wood, roasted, light plum, spice, light nutty, faint chocolate, dried fruit. Palate Light, sweet, wood, light roasted, dried fruit, prunes, light chocolate, spicy, light anise, orange. Finish Medium to long, wood, roasted, medium spicy, light chocolate, light nutts, dried fruit. Needs to rest for a good while to really open up properly. Would have liked it with a higher ABV.

Opulent sweetness, with increasing aging, besides the syrupy caramel, chocolate, and vanilla sugar sweetness, also more spice and roasted aromas come into the profile. The very pronounced sugar aroma remains dominant and shapes the spectrum.
