Anyone who lives for Ti Punch will get the most out of this one. It's a straight Martinique blanc — grassy sugarcane, earthy and a little musty, with olive and a floral edge, plus the 50% giving it some freshness. One taster called it a "very solid Martinique blanc, not very expressive," and that's fair: pleasant, clean, but not much fireworks. Several found the aged Bally's more fun neat.

After a long time again a clear in the glass. Nose: clear thing. Fruity-fermented, vegetable and fermented sugar cane juice. Although slightly sweet, but then more in the direction of olive with a touch of caraway. The 50% gives some freshness, but in the end it seems rather earthy and musty. 60 The nose continues on the palate: earthy and musty, fresh peat. A somewhat nasty undertone of geranium intrudes. The rum is not sweet, but grassy sugar cane comes through. Not really pretty. 58 Good to try the Ausgsngsstoff, but so really what to do with it I would not know now.

And then a pleasant J. Bally from Mitch's Advent calendar. Typical unaged Agricole, naturally very vegetal, floral, earthy, musty and flowery, but you can also detect peat and olive.

#5692 24.09.2025 Relaxing with a few samples after my diabetes checkup, which went pretty well. Nose Fresh, faint smoke, fruits, sugarcane, light peach, light mango, faint metallic. Palate Fresh, fruits, light citrus, light oily, sugarcane, light papaya, faint floral, light dry, light ginger. Finish Medium long, fruits, faint smoke, light dry, light ginger, sugarcane, berries. Empty glass Berries, sugarcane, light floral, spice.

Tasted at the GRF23 at the Velier tasting. There are better white agricoles than this one, although unaged rums almost never come close to an aged rum. That's why my rating for white rum stops at around 8/10.

Very mild and round agricole blanc that makes a very tasty, drinkable Ti Punch. It's not quite my cup of tea straight! But all in all, nothing mega special, the matured Bally's are more fun 😋

I am a beginner and especially to agricoles. This was a nice surprise! Powerful, dominant smell with just right, pleasant type of funky override fruit and varnish and nail polish vibes. The taste continues the same notes but carries with it an underlying earthyness and dials up the synthetic vibe but not in a bad way. Peppery and burning on the finish but still pleasant. Plays way nicer than the 50% ABV should suggest with my sensitive palate. I am a fan.
