On the nose it is really interesting with ripe tropical fruits, caramel, tobacco, leather, wood, milk chocolate, butter and smoked/roasted, very good. (Very similar to the profile of a Savanna) On the palate it is round and silky with floral notes, tropical fruits, a bit of tobacco, leather, caramel and spices on a very light finish. I prefer the nose to the taste which lacks depth. Still an interesting and curious drink. In the empty glass roasted/fermented and flowers. Thanks to Jérôme for the opportunity. (Yellow label version without blue stripe on the name)

A rum tasted at the German Rum Festival in 2024. A rather classy nose, on the agricole side with vegetal (tobacco) and fruits, pineapple, quince and a light woody note. Also a molasses side with leather and varnished wood. The palate is a bit diluted but the aromas sensed on the nose quickly fill the space. Black tea and fruits, pineapple. A bitter note on the finish makes you want to drink more. A discovery!
