Most tasters walk away impressed that 71.2% can drink this composed — the alcohol sits surprisingly well integrated for cask strength. Fresh-cut sugarcane leads, wrapped in green apple, lime and a big vegetal streak, with a licorice-anise note toward the end that not everyone loves. I have to admit, I'm a Brut de Colonne fan. Especially when, like here, the alcohol is perfectly integrated. So it can be enjoyed neat with its well-developed aromas, but even better in a Ti-Punch. The citrus notes aren't too strong, but just enough. Great

Hard to describe. Reminds me somehow of sambuca or ouzo because of the licorice and anise / fennel notes. Overall rather sweet salty and slightly bitter. Alcohol is not particularly disturbing but the basic flavor is just not my thing. In ti punch then something like pear and fig comes to the fore, as well as salty peanuts. Quite nice but I do not have to have again.

Tasting at the Limoges Spirits Festival 2025. 👃 Fresh sugarcane, frank, clear and precise. Notes of heady flowers without being able to determine which ones, in a melting pot. Light olive, light citrus (lime, grapefruit), light mint, light orchard fruits. 😋 Power and liveliness. You literally get slapped. I have quite a lot of very fresh fruits, lemon, grapefruit, passion fruit, green apple. Freshness of mint and morning jelly herb. Licorice/anise note but quite green between the end of the palate and the finish which can seem divisive. ⛳ Very long, lively, dry, on fresh cane, stem, herbaceous, obvious agricultural side, citrus bitterness, light pear, fruit brandy side. 💡 A stunning column still brut with an alcohol degree very well integrated despite the 71 horses.

Just by the smell you can't be mistaken, the markers of Bielle are present. With its intensity, it's still a bit of a workout to taste it. I imagine it won't suit every palate on the palate, but I appreciate finding what characterizes Ricci's open spirit.

Palate Oily, floral, citrus, light sugarcane, light passionfruit, light anise, faint olive, light salt, light vegetal. Finish Medium to long, oily, faint smoke, passionfruit, light citrus, light anise, light sugarcane. Empty glass Citrus, licorice, light olive, light vegetal, olive.

Greedy and not aggressive nose in spite of the 71.2% on the counter! We find obviously fresh sugar cane. But also vegetable notes, green apple and lemon. In mouth, it is rum, real, intense. Of the cane which explodes in mouth, it is ample and very vegetable. It is incredible elegance and precision for such a concentration. The fresh cane unfolds and melts in the mouth with a slightly smoky side. It is fresh and spicy. It does not leave you indifferent. We like it but we plunge our lips into it only very slowly because of the guy! The finish is long.

Superb balance: you can feel the degrees and the power, but the vegetal side comes out perfectly and wraps everything in freshness. For me, this is still the best value for money for a brut de collone on Marie Galante and even Guadeloupe.

Returned after a few years on it and especially a few other bdc : Nose: poor, sooty but surprisingly sweet. Palate: good, gourmet sweetness, expresses the strength of its 71.2 as soon as you breathe in during tasting. Medium finish.
