12.09.2020 Nice evening with family and a few friends. Notes Medium dark to dark in colour. Nose Light wood, faint smoke, fruity, banana citrus, spice, dried fruit, faint chocolate. Palate Warm, light roasted wood, banana, light pineapple, berries, light vegetal, light tea, faint mint. Finish Medium long, warm, fruity, berries, banana, light mint, faint chocolate, light earthy.

Jamaican rum bottled by Danish RomDeLuxe at ABV 55,3%, without adding any sugar. In nose vanilla dominates. On the palate as well as during the rather long finish I recognize vanilla, oak and notes of chocolate. Besides this it’s quite flowery.

First impression: yes, Worthy Park Nose: fruity, vanilla, nice wood, a hint of funk Palate: cask before fruit, 55% really noticeable but well integrated Finish: long and warm, developing into oak, chocolate, coffee and subtle roasted notes Overall impression: great sipper, but not very complex, so I won’t rate it above 8. The wonderful WP aroma still wafts from the glass after more than an hour Still a Worthy Park fanboy, but more for the younger releases. Visited the distillery in Lluidas Vale in February 2024 – a real recommendation for Jamaica travelers.
