Simply awesome. Alcohol extremely well integrated. Sherry noticeable but not too dominant. arrack sets the tone nicely and the whole thing is just extremely smooth and funky!🤤 Like rolling fried bacon in chocolate and raisins with oriental spices... Awesome. Saffron, green bell pepper, rose water, tangerine peel and cardamom in particular are dominant the more I try it. I'm glad I have a second bottle. Exceptional stuff!

Intense Batavia Arrack with strong spice and a distinctive sherry influence. On the nose dark fruits, raisins, and a slightly meaty, bacon-like note that gives the profile depth. On the palate sweet-spicy with dates, wood, dark chocolate, and a hint of smoke. The alcohol is well integrated and powerfully carries the flavors. The finish is long, warm, and slightly sticky with lingering spice.

Somehow quite different... but also really good

This one is really fun! A positive example of a Pedro Ximenez cask. Intense and balanced. Besides dark fruitiness, a meaty roasted note like a soy-plum sauce. I gladly pour myself one or two more glasses of that. Alcohol almost perfectly harmonized.
