It's got a lot of the Hampden notes there, but the nose is quite light, the palate comes with more pineapple and topical fruit but quite quickly green tea bitterness and spiciness of the oak comes in takes over the spot, some sweetness detectable, but overall a bit sharp on bitterness.

Incredible Hampden, with a creamy roundness from the age, although light on the wood. Vanilla sweet, notes of sweet milk tea, among gentle oak and the typical of passionfruit and endless tropical fruit. Of course the nose and palate agree with a perfect amount of Hampden signiature estery funk with some glue or varnish notes. The verdict is a rum that one could nose for hours and hold endlessly on the tongue. Simply a perfect spirit -- although I am generous with my ratings.
