One member calls this "an entry level Dictador" — smooth, not overly sweet, and heavy on coffee. Expect roasted, toasted flavors: espresso, caramel, vanilla, cocoa, a little licorice and smoke. Some tasters find the alcohol a touch loud and almost medicinal on the nose, and a few say it drinks more like caramel cream than rum. Easygoing, coffee-forward, not very complex.

Kaffee, Karamell, Vanille und Kakao bestimmen das Profil, dazu kommen etwas Lakritz, Rauch und geröstete Noten. Er ist weich und nicht übermäßig süß, wirkt aber etwas eindimensional. Eher ein Einsteiger- als anspruchsvoller Sipping-Rum.

Ron orienté vers des notes torréfiées. Ce n est pas léger, mais le goût manque d' équilibre, par moment j ai l impression d avoir des touches de vin de noix. L alcool est un peu trop présent. Quelques morsures pimentées aussi

To my taste, an uninteresting, overly alcoholic, almost medicated nose. On the palate, a strong initial impression of licorice that fades and gives way to notes of roasted coffee that linger on the palate, ending on an earthy sensation. Not bad, but not fantastic either.

Harmonious overall, low notes with a rather long, peaty finish. Licorice, caramel and a strong hint of burn. It doesn't break a duck's back, but it's drinkable :)

Yet another classic from Dictador. Typical profile full of 🥜 nuts, coffee, vanila and caramel. Very similar to 12 but I think iy is even more prominent in nutty notes which is welcome. Sweetness is manageable.

Very good rum for a beginner! Much better crafted than a Don Papa or Diplomatico! It's the perfect rum for an enthusiast who wants to take a step up in the rum world!

Quite delicious. Not the smoothest rum I’ve ever had but the aromas are nice. The alcohol could be integrated better though. Gorgeous colour.
