Rum Exchange A.F.D. Ron Cristóbal Niña
Caramel, vanilla and coconut poured over a syrupy, almost cream-brulée texture — this is a sweet Dominican column-still rum and it makes no secret of it. Several tasters call it a lovely easy sipper and a good first rum, while a few land at "Waaaaay too sweet." Ripe banana and toffee show up, but the sugar mostly runs the show.

How does Rum Exchange A.F.D. Ron Cristóbal Niña taste?
Aggregated from 97 community reviews.
Sweet, creamy dessert-leaning easy sipper Most find it round, soft and genuinely likeable as a sweet sipper. The recurring catch: the sweetness flattens everything else, and experienced drinkers call it pleasant but one-dimensional.

Super entry-level rum. Spiked with sugar, but still pretty tasty 🥃
Review by RumTaTa
For me, it falls into the sweet rum category. Williams pears and perfume on the nose after a while in the glass, otherwise unremarkable. Sweet and spicy on the palate, toffee, bordering on rum liqueur. The finish is short and syrupy.

Very sweet with light notes of coconut and tropical fruit. Still a little nutty on the nose. Tasted with very tasty black beer cheese with orangy fruit notes. Harmonizes well.
Review by Alan Bertoli

This rum is produced by Alcoholes Finos Dominicanos and the brand is owned by the Danish company 1423 Worldclass Spirits. If I should like a sweet rum it must be more complex and be bottled at an higher ABV to balance the sweetness. Overall it’s a very kind but dull rum in my opinion.
Review by Rowald Sweet Empire
Sweetened. Grain Whisky nose/Glue. Very bourbon cask driven. A bit too sweet for me. Not too bad but not my style.
Review by Jonas Kofod
Very sweet. Ripe banana and vanilla spices. A bit one dimensional due to the sweetness. Take of some sugar and add some ester funk and it would be great.

Édes, de szerethető rum. Kimondottan tetszik, kevesebbet vártam, de többet kaptam.

Day 1 in the 2025 rum calendar. Very sweet (sugar: 4 g/100 ml!) but ok.

Schöner Rum für Einsteiger. Mir etwas zu süß, dafür einfach lecker.
Review by Mc Pirate

Waaaaay too sweet.
Review by Tyler Griffith
The sweetness overpowers any other flavors that may be there. Pretty mild and smooth, but one-dimensional.
