Had a glass of this local rum (from Motril) from my neighbors, having a flat down in Nerja, when visiting them during my stay down in Nerja. It reminds me of Flor de Cana which in my opinion means that it’s very smooth, but also very bland or weak in nose and mouth.

For the life of me I couldn’t discern any aromas, and the alcohol is poorly integrated. I don’t recommend for supping neat, this one really is for mixing. Update: I tried it again a few days later and it actually grew on me. It’s not my usual style but it is a legit rum in its own right.
